This is a strange problem to find myself with, I've never had money before and I recently inherited just under 10 million in gold bars and 2 million in cash.
How would you guys "diversify" that?
I'm thinking the obvious fill my TFSA and RRSP's and all that stuff, but that's peanuts in what I have.
Should I keep the cash I have now in a high interest savings account? Should I split it in half between a SA and invest half in ETF's, Should I sell some gold and invest that too or should I leave that alone? Should I burry it on an island like a pirate?
I'm a simple man, I'm not a spender I don't like fancy things I just like to go fishing. I have a wife and 3 kids and I want to make sure they are always secure for their futures.
What would be a smart healthy way to maintain and build this wealth.
