Anyone familiar with this?
I got an ad from Facebook inviting me to a stock trading group. I got curious about the stock tips they might have and what I'd need to do to get into the group. Soon after I was invited into a WhatsApp group with a bunch of other amateur traders. They say it's a group run by T. Rowe Price Group Inc.. And there is a group moderator named Emily who seems to be an assistant to a guy giving the daily stock tips. The guys name is professor Julien r. Mercer.
People in the group say it's free to be part of this group. So far I've gotten stock tips for Enbridge on the TSX, white cap resources on the TSX, and new gold Inc on the TSX. Why am I so skeptical about this group. What's happening, and why am I getting free stock trading advice in this group setting?
