Hi
I’m 44 years old with about 20 years left until retirement. I use Wealthsimple and I’m currently doing a deep "clean-up" of my portfolio to simplify things and boost my growth potential.
I realized I have a lot of "redundancy." My VXC (Global) overlaps significantly with my VFV (S&P 500) and VIU (International). I’m basically paying management fees for three different buckets that contain the same apples.
My TFSA is this picture below
I'm thinking to keep some cash in CBIL
Move about 10K from TFSA to RRSP for tax deduction
Selling my NVDA $US (and my YNVD) to buy NVDA CAD-hedged
Keep my VFV, VAB
Sell my VXC
Build a "Growth Satellite" in the TFSA using CDRs (to avoid the 1.5% USD conversion fee) with $1,000 each in: AMZN, GOOGL, META, and NVDA.

And RRSP is this picture below
I'm thinking to sell VXC, XIT and VAB.
Rebuild with more VFV, VIU and add VEE

What are you thoughts?
thank you
