Hello Everyone - this is an atypical post/ask. I'm a regular follower of this thread and go by the 3 etf rule. My question is regarding my son and his future- my son was diagnosed with a condition that requires him to have many (don't know the count) surgeries throughout his life. He will (cross-fingers) lead a mostly normal/productive life post-surgery and recovery. He is 9 years old.
I want to start investing funds that grow with him so he never runs out of money for treatment or is able to buy health insurance irrespective of the premium (form marketplace). Do we have anyone in our group that has experience with this atypical condition. For your consideration, he is 9 years old and doing well in most other aspects. (again cross-fingers). I have around $60K invested in his account but want to ensure this is the right path going forward.
Thank you for your inputs/insights.
