I know reddit probably isn’t the place to ask for advice regarding my financial future, but here goes anyway.
Ive got about 150k in various stocks, BA, SYF,AMZN and a few others. Im 58, plan on retiring in a couple yrs. I have a pension thru my job that will bring in about 5k/mo and Ill be able to collect soc sec at 62 at about $1200-1500 mo. Im wondering if it wouldn’t be wise to sell my stocks and reinvest into dividend producing etf’s? Just thinking if I could get another $1000-2000 in monthly dividends it would be better than just holding stocks that I wont see a return on until I sell them. As I said im no expert, just feeling out what you guys think.
