I realised most people see diversification purely as having more stocks or assets in a portfolio especially given the current geopolitical environment. In Canada especially diversification is critical. But, without thinking about other aspects such as having multiple brokerage accounts or looking at multiple sources of news for info and also that risk can also go up at some point if you have too many stocks in a portfolio.
