Oil company / commodities have taken a hit from not receiving investments since everyone is buying AI or risky ( pre revenue companies ) .

The retail investors believe in commodities like gold , silver, rare Earth's or copper but not oil because oil has started being phased out. Renewable companies are loss making yet people think there is more room for upside.
We got attuned to More risk, more reward mindset .
Oil companies are in trouble. Oil has dropped a lot during each market correction / crash . And they take a lot of time to bounce back. Some big companies might not bounce back this time.
