Hi all -
I've never had a financial advisor or really anyone to ask this question to. Longtime lurker on reddit + watched countless YouTube videos up until this point. I'd love some "real" advice on my portfolio and suggestions to optimize. A couple notes:
* I am 29, wife is 32
* MDT is very high because it's part of an ESPP (15% discount on stock purchases). Dividends are automatically reinvested. About 70% of it is able to be sold now, and would be taxed. The other 30% is still vested.
* I have concerns I am too heavily weighted in US equities. Would love opinions on this.
* I have a long term investment horizon and, like many of you, want to make as much money as possible. I have a med-high tolerance for calculated risk.
* TFSA contributions are maxed out, my RRSP is maxed out, my wife's RRSP has contribution room but she has an employer pension & earns much less income (so her RRSP contributions have not been prioritized up until now).
