Author sees limited remaining upside and compressed dividend yield in BATS after a 55% gain, prompting consideration of selling.
BATS.L — AVOID Author holds BATS with a 55% gain and now sees only about 10% annual upside with limited upside. The dividend yield has compressed from 9% to 5.5%, leading the author to consider selling and redeploying into better opportunities.
Now I’m up around 55%, is it time to sell. It’s had its move up and while I think it will continue to go up in share price it will likely only be around 10% a year and upside capped. Also divided yield was closer to 9% when I bought it and is now 5.5%.
