Hey everyone, for the past 5-6 months I've been following this sub and try to do my own research as well. My portfolio currently looks like this.
Based on a few posts I've seen in the past, I feel like I have diversified my portfolio across different companies way too much (too little value individually) but not enough across different industries/indices (I still struggle to understand what is Dow, Nasdaq, etc.)
As I am asking for your valuable opinions on my portfolio, I would like to also ask for suggestions of platforms where I can learn more about these indices, values of companies, upcoming agreements businesses are making etc. I want to educate myself, I've always been good with numbers and financial situations, would like to follow my own understanding rather than others' suggestions but I lack the knowledge at the moment.
Currently, I'm able to put in 800-1000 USD into my portfolio every month, but only for a limited time, recently had to move back in to my parents house but as soon as I sort my savings, find an abroad job or create enough passive income, I'd like to move out and settle in a different country.
I want to start investing in QQQM, VOO, VGT, IVV, etc. But first I want to have the knowledge to understand what I am investing in. I am aware most of the stocks I have are already in S&P500. Should I continue adding onto some stocks I hold? How much monthly investment is good for the given ETFs?
Thank you all, wish you a happy new year with great opportunities in the market. ✨
Note: my salary has depreciated about 35-40% past year compared to USD or Euro value. I live in Turkey and receive a paycheck in Turkish Lira. Currently I do not have the information for new year's increase (expecting 15-20%)
