My wife and I are retired and in 70s. We have social security and pension income $7k/month. With RMD withdrawals our income and expenses are about the same. Our Investments are 50% in S&P 500 ETFs and 50% in high A grade companies’ stocks. Not counting any unforeseen expenses, we don’t need to touch our principal. What should be our savings strategy? We are just worried that we may run out of money in our older age. Both of our families have long life genes (late 80s).
