Started this as my my income portfolio. This is a small portion of my assets so I am (1) heavy into Tech, (2) heavy into Covered Calls, (3) overlapped (for funzies) because I wanted to see if they're for me or not.
Yes I (will) pay a lot of ordinary income taxes. My goals are to get this to cover a decent chunk of bills if job lose occurs.
So far - I've liked JEPQ, but think I like the NEOS funds more. SGOV was new to me and finally moving some cash there rather than my HYSA. QDTE was really not good, but it's penciled out, I do like the weekly income, but yeah it's not a performer. Anyhoo - Going to add some BTCI and more SPYI in 2026.
