My goal was $30k this year. Most of the initial cash was interest earned on cd's because the stock market doesnt make sense a lot of times. Got into it in January with XRP. Dumped that for profit because I don't see any value in bitcoin. Bought nvidia. Sold for profit (too early). Bought Amazon. Bought Google and my first long call. The last jump and dump was the AVGO disaster- i had my contract sale in robinhood for a $2000 profit at its height after hours, and most of you know how that played out.
Sold that Google option to offset my gains with my losses on Palantir and Amazon calls (stupid thing traded sideways for 5 months).
Not sure ill do it all again this year as it worries me too much, so i may just let my google and amazon shares ride. I dont know how you guys trade with so much money. I'd have a heart attack.
