Hi all,
It took me many years to find Jack Bogle, JL Collins, etc. Since becoming a Boglehead, I have moved my IRA and employer-based accounts to 100% VFIAX and all new contributions in my taxable brokerage are going into VOO.
Before I fully knew what I was doing, though, I had invested in a few other funds in my taxable account, including VVIAX. The allocation of \~$300,000 is split as follows:
* 55% VOO .03 Expense Ratio
* 26% VVIAX .05
* 9% SCHX .03
* 7% ITOT .03
* 1% VTI .03
I know it's not worth the tax event to move VTI, ITOT, and SCHX to VOO, but I am less clear on VVIAX and have not seen much discussion of it here or elsewhere. Its 3 and 5 year returns are strong. Cashing it out would cost me about $4,000 in taxes, but I wonder if missing out on the large cap growth stocks and only holding 50% of the index is foolish and not pure bogle-ing.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
