The conversation highlights the importance of real revenue and distribution over hype.

  • Bitcoin remains range-bound since February, with a potential breakout or breakdown being key.
  • Stablecoin growth is driving revenue for companies like Circle, Sky, and Coinbase.
  • Western Union is highlighted as a contrarian stablecoin play with a 10% dividend yield.
  • Pendle's price surge is seen as speculative, lacking fundamental improvement.
  • Tokenization of real-world assets and private credit are growing use cases onchain.
  • AI agents are expected to be the next catalyst for onchain activity.
  • Coinbase and Robinhood are praised for multi-product monetization strategies.
  • Regulatory clarity (Clarity Act) could unlock new financial products and competition.

Buy Bitcoin if breakout holds.
Bitcoin is in a range since February, repeatedly failing to break out. If it can break out and hold above the top of the range, that signals continuation and he plans to buy. If it fails to break out again, he expects a move back to the bottom of the range.
Avoid Pendle until fundamentals improve.
Pendle token surged 88% in 30 days, but revenues and fundamentals have not improved; the business is operating at a loss. The price move is driven by speculation, not business growth. Therefore, avoid buying at the current valuation until real growth materializes.
Western Union benefits from stablecoin growth.
Western Union is distressed with a $2.6B market cap and over 10% dividend yield. The company is pivoting to digital assets and stablecoins to leverage its global payout network. As stablecoin adoption grows, WU could benefit from last-mile cash-out demand. The market misprices this pivot, providing upside with limited downside due to the dividend.
