Peter L. Brandt is a futures and commodity trader and founder of Factor LLC, a proprietary trading firm. He trades from classical chart patterns rather than indicators; describing his method on 30 March 2026 he wrote, "I do NOT use Fib and never have … I am a Edwards and Magee/Schabacker measured moves guy," and on 2 March 2026, "I am a Bayesian -- I do not predict markets. I place probability odds on binary outcomes." He posts chart work on gold, silver, crude, grains, bitcoin, bonds and index futures.
