Kim Je-yi (김제이) is the editor-in-chief of Blockmedia, a Korean news outlet covering blockchain and digital assets. After graduating in Korean literature from Sogang University in 2017, Kim entered journalism at Maekyung Biz that year, reported at Newsis from 2018 — as that newsroom's first dedicated digital-asset reporter — and worked as a senior reporter at CoinDesk Korea from 2022, before joining Blockmedia and becoming editor-in-chief in 2024. The stated reporting focus is structural change in the digital-asset market, policy and regulation, and how the global macro backdrop transmits into crypto prices. Kim is lead author of the 2025 Korean book "Bitcoin Tax-Saving, Gifting and Inheritance Manual" and a co-author of "What Made Coin Millionaires Different" (2024), and is a regular panellist on 3PRO TV's "Crypto PLUS" segment, which is the source of all 18 Buzzberg items — recurring topics there are MicroStrategy and Michael Saylor, spot-bitcoin-ETF flows, the US Clarity Act and Korean crypto taxation.
