CNBC's Phil LeBeau reports that the FAA has certified Boeing's 737 MAX-7, clearing the company to begin deliveries. The certification also sets the stage for finalizing the MAX-10 certification, expected by year-end. Boeing shares were up on the day in anticipation. - FAA certifies Boeing 737 MAX-7, the smallest MAX variant. - Boeing can now deliver approximately 20 MAX-7 airplanes from inventory. - MAX-7 certification is a stepping stone toward the more important MAX-10 certification. - Boeing expects MAX-10 certification by the end of the year. - Boeing shares rose during the session ahead of the announcement.
