Thesis:
1. THE FACT: S&P 500 futures (ES1!) opened down and are approaching a critical support level at ~6700 that has been tested multiple times over the last four months.
2. THE BRIDGE: A break below this established support level could signal a further downturn in the market, as it would invalidate a key technical floor that has propped up prices.
3. THE VERDICT: The author is watching to see if the S&P 500 will break its long-standing support, implying a potential short-term bearish outcome if the level fails.
4. RISKS: The author explicitly states the market is unpredictable and could "whipsaw into a rally," meaning the support level could hold again, invalidating a bearish thesis.
Timeframe: short-term
Key Points:
- S&P 500 futures opened down.
- Approaching a key support level at ~6700.
- This support has held for four months.

Tomorrow will be an interesting day. With the S&P500 it's close to that support at upper \~6700 that it's been bouncing off for four months now. I guess we'll see if it holds this time. But this market has been anything but predictable so by morning who knows, maybe it'll whipsaw into a rally by mid-day. Crazy times.
