Shipping giant FedEx has deleted invoices from the account of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein after journalists accessed the records using login details published by the US
Department of Justice.
The Ditch reported that it was able to access Epstein's FedEx shipping account after the US Department of Justice released an unredacted password as part of document disclosures. The password was later removed from the publicly available files.
According to the publication, the shipping account showed activity as recently as mid-2024, despite Epstein having died in 2019.
The outlet claims it still retains access to parts of the account, including an address book containing nearly 100 names and addresses. Among those reportedly listed is a former Israeli Air Force lieutenant colonel who now works as an adviser to lawyer Alan Dershowitz.
Invoices reviewed by the publication allegedly showed that on 20 May 2024, a package was collected from a Gulfstream product support centre in Savannah, Georgia, and shipped to Plan D LLC in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Plan D LLC was the now-dissolved company Epstein incorporated to own and operate his private jet. The aircraft was reportedly used by Donald Trump during the 2024 US presidential election campaign.
Another shipment was recorded on 12 March 2024, sent from the same Gulfstream address in Georgia to Empire Aviation in West Palm Beach, Florida.
In recent days, FedEx has deleted both invoices from the account, according to The Ditch.
It is not clear who accessed or authorised the shipments, and no public statement has yet been issued by FedEx or US authorities regarding the account activity.
