[+8] u/Chi_Villa: Anyone else looking at what they didn't do and kicking themselves???
[+7] u/jrex035: Yikessss that EIA report on US crude/refined product inventories was horrifically bad.
Commercial inventories fell 7.2m barrels on top of the 3.8m SPR draw, meaning US total crude inventories fell 11m barrels last week (1.5% of total inventories). And yet, gasoline stocks were flat and distillate stocks up just 1m barrels. In other words, we pulled 11m barrels of oil from storage and consumed/exported 10m barrels of that.
The appetite for US crude and refined products is waaaaay higher than our ability to produce either. Soon we'll need to cut down on exports, which will leave a giant gaping hole in global markets.
The US itself is unlikely to experience shortages (unless Trump tries export bans/price caps), but other parts of the world absolutely will. We'll just get slammed with much higher prices in order to keep products stateside.
[+7] u/InvestigatorPlus3229: Party gonna last about 1 hour before Zuck ends it with his autistic capex, just watch

[+5] u/_hiddenscout: **Constellium (NYSE: CSTM)** reported Q2 2026 results with revenue of $2.7 billion, representing a 31% increase year-over-year. The company posted a net income of $148 million (up 311% from $36 million in Q2 2025) and a record Adjusted EBITDA of $439 million (up 201% year-over-year), which included a positive non-cash metal price lag impact of $129 million. During the quarter, Constellium generated $90 million in Free Cash Flow, repurchased 623,000 shares for $20 million, and ended the period with its net leverage reduced to 1.8x.
According to Constellium, full-year 2026 guidance has been raised, calling for Adjusted EBITDA in the range of $980 million to $1.020 billion (excluding the non-cash impact of metal price lag) and Free Cash Flow in excess of $300 million. The company noted that with this revised guidance, it now expects to achieve its previous 2028 financial targets two years ahead of schedule.
"During the quarter, we benefited from strong operational focus, cost control and improved market dynamics, including an improved aerospace and transportation, industry and defense (TID) environment, supply shortages of automotive rolled products in North America, and strong recycling performance in both North America and Europe."
[+5] u/_hiddenscout: Cool to see some names in software do well off earnings. Strong day for EXLS and MAHN
[+5] u/Same_Bag711: Well I’m at about even now YTD on the Roth after switching from Fidelity to Robinhood. Still think I’m up like 12% YTD but man, watching my account go down 14% in the past month has not been fun lol

[+5] u/IvoryTowerResident: Warsh statement leaked? Everything going up
[+10] u/AngronTheDestroyer: So now that Microsoft has shown that increased capex spending does have a tangible return, will this mean money will rotate back into semis and memory?
[+10] u/bslaven3: Jesus, blow the whistle. The last 45 minutes have been insane.
[+10] u/All_YourBase: Another rough day.

[+8] u/Usual-Locksmith4657: Invested heavily into tech at piss poor timing. Almost all gains lost YTD. Why does literally everything I touch drop to shit
[+7] u/DietFoods: Qqq is up 5% in the last 9 months and someone will look you straight in the eye and tell you that we've gone up too much.
Edit: 4% lol
[+6] u/azure275: There is a complete divergence between what's happening on the ground in semiconductors and the actual amount of money they're making
At some point one of the sides has to give lol. Either profits have to crash or the stock has to go up
The problem for retail investors is that nobody knows which way it'll break and when, so if you're going to invest you better believe in yourself enough to not ruin your day with the swings.
Every analyst price target has MU at 50-100% or even more above the value right now. This isn't *someone* being wrong this is literally everyone being wrong.
[+6] u/fakemedicines: Hehe guess I'm a meta long term investor now

[+5] u/pateyhfx: Where my software bros at? It's our time to shine
[+5] u/Current_Animator7546: Should have raised rates. They are going to be late again
[+5] u/toonguy84: The words and actions of the Fed don't line up. Good jobs numbers, elevated inflation, reiterated the 2% hard target ... but don't increase the rates.
[+5] u/joe4942: DRAM with new lows AH.
[+5] u/ethereal3xp: So the only loser is Meta?
