I’ve recently gotten divorced. I left everything with my wife. Starting over with no savings and 50/50 custody of the kids. I was paying 1200$ a month, since I got 50/50 custody I’ll paying around d half that amount.
I’m not use to not having a savings, so my investing strategy has been to throw a few hundred every week or two into some high risk options. I normally lose it all, sometimes make a lot, but it’s not producing the results I want. I’ve realize there’s no short cut to getting back to where I want to be.
If you were in my shoes and had a few hundred dollars extra each month to invest what would you invest in?
Looking for any advice to help me get back to around 10k savings.
