AT&T seem to be focusing on fiber cable and have been investing in infrastructure for this, they plan to have 60 million fiber locations by 2030. AT&T are also in the process of cleaning their balance sheet.
Verzion is focusing on 5G for its broadband to deliver more cost effective internet to homes. They are also trying to cut costs for the future.
AT&T, Verzion and T mobile have entered into a joint partnership for satellite to phone, the service is called direct to device (D2D) and it is believed this is an attempt to combat the threat of starlink.
T-Mobile is a possibility too. They have a similar debt to AT&T and similar cashflow but their debt is decreasing 15% every year and their free cashflow is increasing 5% every year. The recent news could cause them short term damage though.
Both companies debt is similar with AT&T with a debt of $138.4bn and Verzion with a debt of $172.5bn. Version has slightly more income and slightly more free cash flow.
What are your thoughts and which company shows more future growth?
