Less than a year ago this fickle market overreacted to the tariff situation. The overall stock market was rocked and almost everything fell to a new low.. few months later most if not all hit new highs.
Here we have the entire tech and saas sector selling off as if its the end of the world. One hand says AI will replace SaaS, the other is saying these big tech mag7 plays are over spending for AI initiatives which wont produce the returns.
So whats the reality? Probably a mixture but theres a good case to be made that these mega cap companies arent dumb and will indeed be in the process of the next super AI cycle.. which in return will require a pivot from these SaaS companies to adapt and utilize AI to maximize profits.
This sell-off seems like a excellent entry now that most of these names are down 10-50% of their price from a month ago.
whats your view? everything burns down more and we see way more damage? or is it a perfect time to start adding to these names? aka V shape recovery?
