There are plenty of investing channels worth watching. We wanted to know which ones also surfaced ideas that beat the market after the videos came out.

We looked through Buzzberg's 2026 coverage of **54 YouTube channels** and picked nine for their company research, industry knowledge and investment discussions. Their recorded calls tell a less comfortable story than a collection of winning clips: a useful channel can still trail the market, and a few big winners can carry an otherwise ordinary average.

Here is what we would watch, which episodes are worth revisiting, and what Buzzberg recorded afterward.

## What happened after the calls?

We used the calculation behind [Buzzberg's channel leaderboard](https://buzzberg.ai/speakers?board=sources&platform=youtube&horizon=90&window=ytd), using its September 22 snapshot and **calls published in 2026**. After excluding ticker mismatches and unresolved speaker attributions, the results include long and short entries across the assets discussed on each channel. SPY, the S&P 500 ETF, is the site's benchmark for every channel, including those focused on crypto.

### Company research, technology and macro

| Channel | Calls: 30 / 90 days | 30-day return | SPY: same dates | 90-day return | SPY: same dates |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| SemiAnalysis Weekly | 31 / 28 | +21.1% | +6.7% | +42.0% | +11.3% |
| Yet Another Value Podcast | 121 / 93 | +0.5% | +1.1% | +3.2% | +4.6% |
| All-In | 113 / 93 | +1.9% | +0.6% | +3.2% | +4.3% |
| Forward Guidance | 173 / 145 | +0.1% | −0.3% | −0.6% | +5.2% |
| Anthony Pompliano | 319 / 253 | +3.7% | +0.7% | +9.9% | +5.5% |
| Real Vision | 343 / 285 | +0.9% | +0.6% | +4.4% | +5.3% |

The SPY comparison follows the corresponding dates for each call, so the benchmark differs between rows. These are average modeled call returns, not the performance of a funded portfolio.

SemiAnalysis Weekly has the strongest 90-day result in this shortlist. Pompliano also beats SPY over both a month and a quarter. All-In is ahead at 30 days and behind at 90; Forward Guidance is close to flat over a month and negative over a quarter.

### Channels with a crypto focus

| Channel | Calls: 30 / 90 days | 30-day return | SPY: same dates | 90-day return | SPY: same dates |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Delphi Digital | 46 / 22 | +2.9% | +0.5% | +4.7% | +3.0% |
| Empire | 151 / 132 | +1.1% | −0.3% | +6.4% | +5.6% |
| Unchained | 328 / 268 | +0.7% | −0.7% | +5.0% | +5.1% |

These rows cover the channel's reviewed call set, including any stock or fund calls, rather than a crypto-only subset. Empire is slightly ahead of SPY. Delphi also beats the index, but has the smallest sample; Unchained is approximately level.

## 1. SemiAnalysis Weekly: AI hardware beyond Nvidia

The useful question in an AI investment discussion is often which part of the system cannot be built fast enough. Memory, CPUs, power and construction all have different constraints. [SemiAnalysis Weekly](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCh78I9QwlB_QhQMnZDKuRqQ) spends time on those details.

In the [February 15 discussion](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrmCMA97wRI&t=774s), Doug O'Laughlin explained why even Intel could benefit from tight CPU supply despite its competitive problems. Buzzberg's recorded Intel call returned **+147.8%** in the 90-day evaluation, versus **+9.7% for SPY**. The model closed the call on May 14, following an AVOID signal, before the full 90 days had elapsed.

The [March 27 episode](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZ1jDqFUS3s&t=1132s) went further into memory supply: how much capacity Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron could add, and why demand could still outstrip it. Buzzberg records **+242.4% for Micron**, against **+15.8% for SPY**, over its 90-day window.

There were misses. In the [April 17 episode](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eda9A_oWOlo&t=1626s), the case for photomask manufacturer Photronics rested on demand shifting toward Western suppliers. The stock had already rallied. The recorded call subsequently returned **−39.5%**, while SPY gained **+5.7%**.

The 90-day average is **+42.0%**, from **28 calls across 9 videos**. About 82.1% finished positive. That is enough to make the channel interesting, but not a long track record. Its exposure to a strong AI hardware market matters too: outperforming SPY does not separate stock selection from sector exposure. The Weekly feed is tracked separately from the main SemiAnalysis channel.

## 2. Yet Another Value Podcast: a stock pitch you can investigate

Andrew Walker's [Yet Another Value Podcast](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVCzUJIgjDKSdEOYpTqLScw) gets into what would actually have to change for a stock to work: management incentives, a spin-off, a buyer, a better product or simply a valuation that has become too low.

On [May 10](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUYEgC16f28&t=2839s), Walker described a small position in Rapid7. The discussion covered activist involvement and management incentives, but also less flattering product feedback. Buzzberg's RPD call returned **+68.3% over 90 days**, against **+4.8% for SPY**.

The [Alex Roepers conversation published June 15](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyvsMuHMVg4&t=615s) made a case for Aptiv through its valuation, restructuring and repurchases. That one went the other way: **−32.8%**, versus **+2.6% for SPY**.

Across **93 evaluated calls**, the channel averaged **+3.2%**, below SPY's **+4.6%**. We would still start here when researching an unfamiliar company. The pitches give you specific assumptions to check against later earnings, including the ones that turn out to be wrong.

## 3. All-In: hearing the technology business case from the people involved

[All-In](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCESLZhusAkFfsNsApnjF_Cg) can take a long detour through politics. Its technology interviews are the reason to keep it on this list.

In the [Michael Dell interview published March 17](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9y7TTU1jIvk&t=2490s), Dell described AI servers becoming a much larger business and enterprises building their own AI infrastructure. He was explaining his own company, so this was a founder's account rather than an independent stock recommendation.

The [May 1 discussion of AI and cybersecurity](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpC4sbawSzQ&t=1260s) raised a different business question: would increasingly capable AI create an upgrade cycle for security software? The conversation mentioned Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike. Buzzberg's recorded PANW call returned **+79.9%** over 90 days, against **+2.9% for SPY**.

Across the channel's **93 evaluated calls**, however, the average was **+3.2%**, versus **+4.3% for SPY**. The good examples do not add up to market-beating performance across the whole channel.

Follow the people separately, too. [Chamath Palihapitiya](https://buzzberg.ai/speakers/chamath-palihapitiya) and [David Friedberg](https://buzzberg.ai/speakers/david-friedberg) do not express one shared investment view.

## 4. Forward Guidance: follow the guest behind the idea

On [April 6](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2Mf3OotGrQ&t=1673s), [Jordi Visser](https://buzzberg.ai/speakers/jordi-visser) described Micron as his largest personal holding. His argument was about memory demand and a valuation that he thought understated the earnings ahead.

It is an episode worth revisiting, but it was not the start of that position in Buzzberg's record. Visser's Micron entry was already recorded from a [January 24 Pompliano interview](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uayWSm17LQ8). The April appearance is classified as a hold, so the channel leaderboard does not treat it as another fresh Micron call for Forward Guidance.

That distinction changes the story. [Forward Guidance](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkrwgzhIBKccuDsi_SvZtnQ) averaged **−0.6% over 90 days**, against **+5.2% for SPY**, across **145 calls**. Its win rate was **45.5%**.

The channel is useful for hearing a guest work through a macro position. To judge that person's record, follow the thesis across appearances and channels. Counting every repeat as a fresh success can make a familiar idea look more impressive than it was.

## 5. Anthony Pompliano: look beyond the Bitcoin label

[Pompliano's channel](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCevXpeL8cNyAnww-NqJ4m2w) has plenty of stock and industry discussion alongside the crypto interviews. Its 90-day result was **+9.9%**, against **+5.5% for SPY**, across **253 evaluated calls**. The win rate was **62.1%**.

In the [March 7 conversation](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kFhXw1wZvQ&t=1903s), Visser discussed Marvell as a beneficiary of custom AI chips. He expressed interest in adding exposure after a market pullback. Buzzberg records **+194.1%** for that call over 90 days, compared with **+9.7% for SPY**. That is a modeled result; the discussion did not establish that he bought at the model's entry price.

The [May 13 interview with Asher Genoot](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VfRGtz6_YA&t=1851s) gives the opposite example. Genoot discussed American Bitcoin's mining economics and Bitcoin holdings. The recorded ABTC call returned **−59.2%**, against **+3.8% for SPY**. A management interview needs the same scrutiny as any other pitch.

Pompliano's average remains positive after removing the two largest 90-day winners: **+8.4%**. That makes the result less dependent on a single spectacular example, although the calls still share themes, assets and guests.

## 6. Real Vision: the holding period makes a difference

[Real Vision](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGXWKlq1Oxr3ddEtmKhAkPg) brings together macro views, technical setups and company analysis. It helps to identify which kind of argument a guest is making before judging the result.

The [March 26 discussion of Arm](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1sQzzZIDoQ&t=1063s) connected its processor plans with edge computing. The stock had already risen around the announcement. Buzzberg's recorded ARM call returned **+132.0% over 90 days**, versus **+13.7% for SPY**.

The broader channel result was **+4.4%**, below SPY's **+5.3%**, across **285 calls**. At 180 days, the figures were stronger: **+17.2% versus +9.9%**, from 133 calls.

Those are different sets of completed observations, not one portfolio improving between month three and month six. Still, the contrast is a useful reason to examine a guest's intended timeframe before judging a long-term thesis on its first few weeks.

## 7. Delphi Digital: token economics, with a small sample

The [June 4 Hivemind discussion](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdHMUNBCJgI&t=1875s) asks a practical crypto question: when a product generates revenue, how much of that value reaches the token holder?

Lighter was among the examples. Buzzberg's recorded LIT call returned **+148.8% over 90 days**, versus **+1.1% for SPY**.

For [Delphi's channel](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9Yy99ZlQIX9-PdG_xHj43Q), the mean was **+4.7%**, against **+3.0% for SPY**. It comes from **22 calls across 8 videos**. Half finished positive, and the median was **−2.7%**.

The two largest winners account for much of the average: removing them changes the mean to **−5.2%**. Different guests can receive separate call records for the same asset, so these are not independent investment opportunities. We would watch for the discussion of token value and incentives, while waiting for a broader record.

## 8. Empire: the same token can be a very different investment later

[Empire's January 8 Hivemind episode](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25C2GpD7mMk&t=1236s) praised Lighter's efforts to direct value to its token. Buzzberg records a **−67.9%** 90-day result for that call, while SPY returned **−2.0%**.

Compare that with Delphi's June discussion above: the same token, a later entry, a very different outcome. Recognizing an interesting business does not settle the question of what to pay for it.

There were strong calls on [Empire](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEOv-8wHvYC6mzsY2Gm5WcQ) too. In the [June 19 episode](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0u1J59TPDTQ&t=2532s), Jordi Alexander described buying Zcash as a monetary hedge. Its recorded 90-day result was **+228.3%**, versus **+2.1% for SPY**.

The channel's **132 evaluated calls** averaged **+6.4%**, against **+5.6% for SPY**. Half finished positive. Empire and Delphi also carry overlapping Hivemind material, so their results should not be treated as independent confirmation of the same thesis.

## 9. Unchained: a wider set of crypto arguments

[Unchained](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWiiMnsnw5Isc2PP1to9nNw) spans interviews, news and shows such as The Chopping Block and Uneasy Money. Its results cover the channel as a whole, rather than the personal record of one host.

The [February 28 Uneasy Money episode](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-5Omrn1V4U&t=475s) examined why so many tokens give holders little reason to stay invested. Hyperliquid came up as a stronger example of incentives and value reaching the token. Buzzberg records a **+105.4%** 90-day result for the HYPE call from that episode, against **+10.3% for SPY**.

The [July 9 conversation with Lighter's Vladimir Novakovski](https://unchainedcrypto.com/tokens-vs-equity-lighter-x-robinhood-the-chopping-block/) is another useful starting point. It examines the relationship between tokens and equity: a successful company and a successful token investment need not produce the same outcome.

The broader numbers were approximately level with the index. **268 evaluated calls** averaged **+5.0%**, versus **+5.1% for SPY**, with a **55.6%** win rate. The larger sample gives you more room to compare individual guests, rather than relying on the strongest clip.

## Other channels worth checking

**Invest Like the Best**, **The Compound** and **MacroVoices** remain useful for interviews and market discussion. Their 90-day averages were **+1.3% versus +5.7% for SPY**, **+1.4% versus +5.2%**, and **+1.4% versus +4.3%**, respectively. All three trailed the matching benchmark.

**1000x** deserves attention too: **+7.9% versus +5.4% for SPY**, from **95 calls**. **Thread Guy** had the larger sample, at 299 calls, but returned **+4.7% versus +5.2%**.

For AI research, **Dwarkesh Patel** has a strong preliminary number: **+32.7% versus +8.1% for SPY**. That comes from 18 calls across just 5 videos. It is worth investigating without treating a handful of interviews as an established performance record.

## Over a week or six months

| Channel | 7 days: call / SPY | 180 days: call / SPY | 180-day calls |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| SemiAnalysis Weekly | +6.6% / +2.3% | — | 3 |
| Yet Another Value Podcast | +0.7% / +0.3% | +4.2% / +10.3% | 40 |
| All-In | +0.9% / +0.1% | +4.9% / +10.3% | 60 |
| Forward Guidance | +0.2% / −0.1% | −0.2% / +8.5% | 121 |
| Anthony Pompliano | +1.6% / +0.3% | +7.0% / +9.9% | 138 |
| Real Vision | +0.6% / +0.1% | +17.2% / +9.9% | 133 |
| Delphi Digital | +1.0% / −0.0% | — | 4 |
| Empire | +2.0% / −0.1% | +5.3% / +10.9% | 101 |
| Unchained | +0.6% / −0.0% | +5.2% / +10.3% | 225 |

A dash means the channel has fewer than the site's minimum of ten evaluated calls for that horizon. Longer windows only include calls old enough to be evaluated, so the samples differ between columns.

## Where we would start

For AI hardware, start with **SemiAnalysis Weekly**, then compare the thesis with what company executives say on **All-In**. For a detailed stock pitch, choose **Yet Another Value Podcast**. For crypto, use **Empire** and **Delphi** to examine the token's economics, and **Unchained** to hear a wider set of arguments.

Follow a guest across appearances, too. Visser's discussions on Forward Guidance and Pompliano are part of one person's evolving view, even though they sit under different channel names. Our [research on 27,000 market-commentator ideas](https://buzzberg.ai/blog/market-commentators-27000-trade-ideas-sp500) takes a broader look at that problem.

You can continue through [Buzzberg MCP's Research Speaker example](https://buzzberg.ai/mcp?scenario=speaker#examples). Try: **“Research Jordi Visser's 2026 calls. Compare his available 30-day and 90-day results with SPY, and link to the original videos.”**

## Data and method

Buzzberg's September 22, 2026 snapshot; calls published in 2026. Numbered long and short entries include recorded closes; repeated holds add no calls. We excluded ticker mismatches and unresolved speaker attributions, so some figures differ from the live leaderboard. Returns are modeled per call versus SPY on matching dates, before dividends and costs.
